Safety Tips |
| |
| 1. Keep all
chemicals out of reach of children. |
| 2. Store chemicals
in a cool, dry, clean place. |
| 3. Wash hands
thoroughly after handling chemicals. |
| 4. Never mix
chemicals together, or with anything other than water. |
| 5. Always add
chemicals to water, never the opposite. Splash-back could occur
causing damage to clothing or burning of eyes. |
| 6. Use only
clean measuring devices to handle chemicals. |
| 7. Never add
more than one pound or 20 liquid ounces of pH+ (increaser) or pH-
(minus) per 10,000 gallons in a 4-hour period. |
| 8. Replace liquid
reagants in a test kit at least once a year. |
| 9. Add liquid
chemicals with bottle close to pool water to avoid splashing. |
| 10. Sprinkle
granular chemicals close to water's surface so wind does not blow
product. |
| 11. Do not reuse
empty containers. When containers are empty, rinse and dispose. |
